How to Measure
To determine
which size fitting is the right one for your application
Fitting sizes are determined by
both the Hose I.D. (Inside Diameter) and the Maximum Hose O.D. (Outside
Diameter), measured over the barb. Push
hose onto the barb and measure over the fattest point.
Steel braided line
O.D.
varies by manufacturer so be sure to measure properly!

| How
to measure your hoses to determine the correct fittings to use. |
| The
best way is to use calipers and measure the outside diameter of the hose. |
| Match
that number to column C in the list above to find the correct part number. |
| A
quick and easy way to determine the hose OD size is to slip an open end
wrench over the outside of the hose. |
| Another
way to measure is to use an adjustable wrench, adjust the wrench to match
the OD of the hose without squeezing, then use a tape measurer to
determine the hose's OD by measuring the opening in the wrench. |
| Match
that number to column D in the list above to find the correct part number. |
