Not to say they don't work, they just seem archaic on such a high performance machine. Especially if they're the large t-clamps found on your induction system tubing, and look suspiciously similar to the clamps used on RV septic tanks. Pi-Thon Design, Inc. has another way to seal your marine engine's induction plumbing: the Pi-Thon Induction-Lock™. Similar to patent-pending Pi-Thon Hose-locks™ for rubber, silicone or braided stainless steel hoses, the Induction-Lock™ is a billet aluminum compression fitting that connects large diameter tubing to air filters, turbochargers, throttle bodies and practically any metal or plastic tubing up to 4-inches in diameter.
